Why We Started DS Financial

With over 20 years of combined experience in the lending industry, we kept seeing the same problem: people stuck in auto loans for several years with no clear path out — regardless of how their situation had changed.

The circumstances varied, but the core issue was always the same. Some clients were paying a rate they no longer deserved because rates had improved since they signed. Others needed to adjust the terms of their loan — whether that meant extending the length, shortening it, or changing who was on it. And others were simply overextended, with a car payment that was eating into their budget and affecting their ability to qualify for a home, a new purchase, or just breathe a little easier month to month.

What surprised us most was how many people didn't know refinancing was even an option. They assumed they were locked in until the term ended. In reality, the ability to get a better rate, free up cash flow, pay the loan off sooner, remove a co-signer, or reduce their overall monthly obligations was available to them — they just needed someone in their corner to make it happen.
